Kelly deVos
contemporary & horror writer
I write sharp, funny books about girls who refuse to shrink.
Five novels so far — a fashion-world debut, a doomsday duology, zombies at fat camp, and a Dracula-inspired castle slasher. My work on body positivity has appeared in the New York Times, Vulture, Salon, Bustle and SheKnows. I live in Gilbert, Arizona with my high school sweetheart, our daughter, and a superhero dog named Cocoa.
“deVos superbly blends humor and horror in this sharp-witted, high-stakes adventure that unpicks genre conventions and wades fearlessly into the dialogue surrounding fatphobia. A gory, no-holds-barred zombie story that manages to both celebrate and terrify.”
